I m not sure if its something that can be fixed on limewire, but ive been getting the problem as of late that quite a few of the files i download contain Trojan virus in them. Lucky for me my virus software catchs them the minute file starts to download. So Fyi everyone be careful!

Look up files using Bitzi before downloading.

In search results window, right-click on a filename, scroll to Advanced, select Look up file using Bitzi; browser window will open with info about the file. This can save you hours of downloading misnamed, bogus, or harmful files.
