I wonder why Limewire have no update info like bearshare?

It would be nice to get an short info when I start LW that a new version is available!

windows LW 2.1.3pro did notify to upgrade to LW 2.2.1pro

I am using windows 2.2.1 PRO too!

How does this notification looks like?

With 2.1.3 it checks for update before starting (windows version); however, I had to download 2.2.3 version. I assume update feature only works on 2.x and not 2.x.x.

A screen pops up and ssays an update is available yes is the only option unless you close the box.
