Okay , so I am going to install this new version 4.12.6 or somthing right?

Anyways, so all i need is my D:\incomplete folder ?
I have my origional files still.

Will it work ?

In 3.8 it just wont resume, i have tried to trick limewire with renaming of the file and stuff, just dosnt work man. And I mean with 56k u are super fked.

Please tell mewhat is required from my end with regards to what i should do ?

Very little chance that it will be able to resume your incomplete files. 3.8 is so very old, and there have too many changes been made in that time. It will on the other hand behave much better with your new incompletes.

I would recommend a clean install when you upgrade
