N00B Questions

1.
In Phex, you can modify the Listening Port. Settings=>Options=>Network=>Listening Port. Does Phex use any other port apart from that one?

2.
The connections are ecrypted with TLS, but will an outsider distinguish the Gnutella connection from any other type of TLS connection?

1. Not to my knowledge.

2. AFAIK yes, since the initialization of the connectionc an be recognized.

For truly anonymous p2p, you can use i2phex, which routes Phex connections over i2p: forum.i2p ~ View Forum - I2Phex
