Is this program working at all now?

I've been using Newtella until a few days ago. I'm connected to my server through a 56K modem, and although I've always had some problems completing downloads, I never had any problem connecting to various servers and starting downloads until a few days ago. I could connect to many servers at one time. Now, I can't get one single server to connect. I've tried in the mornings, mid-day, evenings, and at night time. Nothing will connect. Does anyone have a clue as to what my problem might be?
