Why can i never keep more than 3 connections no matter what i set the number of hosts to keep alive on the connections tab?

You can increase that number, after being connected. The number of shielded client connections where hardcoded to 3 to prevent further network fragmentation.

everytime i type a song name or artist its sayin dat limewire is currently connecting 2 a netowrk but its sayin that all the time......its not working i cant download any songs.

Default limewire will not connect to network
lime wire was working fine then i got pro will not connect to network any ideas?

When upgrading to Pro, it's usually a good idea to delete your LimeWire preferences folder.

If that does not do the trick, replace the gnutella.net file.
