Perhaps a new centralized spam filtering feature could be added to LW that's similar to the host caches, but instead caches IP addresses--like this mimic's--that the client should blacklist and remove them from search results.

If you can implement a centralized spam filter, what would keep the RIAA from demanding that you implement a centralized copyright filter, too?
