When i try to download movies I never have any success! I am a Mac user so i have no alternative. One of my friend (who uses Windows) uses KaZaa and he gets lots of movies. I told him to download me S**** and he sends it to me the next day!
How come Limewire can not be this easy? Can someone please post some solutions? Or better yet, if you have some movies that you can send me through AIM, that would be great. My screenname is EnYcE LowRida 15. Any FTP links would also be highly appreceative...

try Kazaa Lite, Gnucleus, or if you have no problems with the program always crashing Morpheus PE. Also, they have no Adware/Spyware, unlike Limewire.

Downloading movies from gnutella requires a lot patience.

Not quite as depressing is the downloading experience with eDonkey (available for Mac and the p2p application of choice for rare movies).

What a piece of garbage. When you try to d/l something, others are d/ling it from you at the same time you're getting it from someone else.

Lol! Don't you get it? That's what makes eDonkey the best! That very feature is what the whole Gnutella network is moving towards. Look it up.

When I had eDonkey, I tried to d/l an episode of A***** and it took 2 days to finish. No bull. I just finished d/ling 3 episodes of S******, and it took me 30 minites.

That's true, eDonkey is very slow, - but for movies it's still better than gnutella at the moment.

It depends on your settings and the availbility... but at least you find a lot of movies there!

This weekend eDonkey gave me roughly 200MBytes (DSL 768K), crashed five times and is still hashing.
