Hello,
after editing limewire.props and setting ACCEPT_AUTHENTICATED_CONNECTIONS_ONLY = true, a dialog comes up asking for a username and password. I guess they must be set in limewire.props as well - but what's the setting name? This would be a big advantage when building a private network. Thanks in advance, Joe |

I searched through the LimeWire source code and it's looking for a file called UserMap.dat that contains a Java Map object. I'm not sure if the code to save the file is ever called or if there's even a graphical interface for adding and removing users.
Writing a simple Java application that creates a Map object and writes it to a file with that name would be the only way to test it. |

Thanks a lot for the hint... I'll have a closer look at that interface, and if I have some time, I'll test it... I wonder if I'm really the only one to be interested in this!?
