I have DSL with dynamic IP address.
Someone behind *IP address removed* flooded my client with more than 50 starting downloads. When I recognized this, I filtered that IP. Some days later, the same IP again started to download one file after the other from my gnutella client. Again, I filtered this IP. But then, minutes later, someone using the "neighbour" IP *IP address removed* continued to start many downloads from my client! Can you explain this? Could this be a danger to me? (Usually I'm sharing ca 900 files) Last edited by birdy; February 1st, 2008 at 05:19 PM. |

A query of that IP at http://www.arin.net/whois/index.html shows it's owned by HiSpeed Hosting in Hoboken, NJ.
