![]() Actually, it shouldn't matter. They claim that LimeWire is pure Java, and Java should run on any machine that has a Java engine, no matter what processor or architecture it has. Normally this is true, but I've also been unable to get Limewire to work on Solaris 8 X86. I get a segment fault in one of the X11 Motif libs, called from the Java VM. It's time to get truss out, and see what's really happening. But I'm using the Java 1.4.2-b28 runtime, and perhaps that's not the right version. They mentioned something about the Java 1.3.x version, so I may have to revert to an older version to get things working. When I have time, I will trace through this, and post whatever I find.
