why is it that I seem to get requery about 90% of the time when I try to download

The reason is that there is more demand than supply for a lot of files. Gnutella depends on hosts having files and bandwidth available for upload.
Sometimes , by searching for the file again you may find another host with the same file and, if it has a free upload slot, Limewire may download it. |
