Default Please Help Expose 9/11 Rock Tune

I would like to try and use Gnutella to share a tune about 9/11. This song is not for sale anywhere, I just want to do my little part for the upcoming anniversary. The problem is that this song only lives on one lonely computer, my iMac . I'm looking for some folks who would want to put my MP3 in their shared folder to facilitate successful searches. Please e-mail me if interested and I'll e-mail you the tune. NOTE: Right now you could search all day and never find it on Gnutella. The song is Rock and is titled " Monkey Man in Afghanistan " by a group called
Boner Hamilton.

I got your e-mail thru Gnutella. I'm sure I am not the only one who received it either. This is called "spamming". I suggest you post you IP here if you want to share it so much. So in that case, I ask that the mods do not close this thread.

On a personal note, I am interested in hearing the song either way. But the title suggests negativity that should not me on display on the anniversary of the most horrible day in US history.

Sept 11, 2002 should be a day to reconcile with the fact that 3000+ civilian lives were lost on our own soil... a tragedy that none of us imagined would occur in our lifetimes. It should be a day of remembrence and respect for the fallen and the families of those victims. And to all of those, such as myself, that are brought to tears at the very thought of what happened in this land that I call home.

"Monkey" stuff on 9/11/02 will only bring on more pain and suffering to those here and abroad. It is no kind of tribute or comfort to those that feel that we here in the US all lost so much one year ago. Let alone the people abroad that lost so many lives in that attack. Most of the civilized world hurt that day... realizing that it if it can happen here, it can happen anywhere.

Please do not get me wrong. I have no sympathy for the devils that brought about this world-wide chaos.

Thanks for responding. I'm very new to this so I'm sorry if I was "Spamming".
My IP address is *IP address removed*. Your heart felt comments about 9/11 are shared here. I am one of those people who still has an American flag on his car. People have a wide range of feelings about what happened on September 11th. Sadness, Loss, Anger, Pity, Fear, it goes on and on. "Monkey Man" is not a tune like Hero. It is not meant for everyone, but it does give a voice to what a lot of people feel and think. It has elements of humor, reverence, sadness and revenge. I am attempting to share it whoever might like it and perhaps help them fell a bit better about September 11th, 2001.

I am just realizing that the IP address I gave my not be right. I use an iMac and am connected via a modum. When I connect each time my IP is supplied by earthlink. Thus it keeps changing. Is there a way I can use TCP/IP so that I am using the same IP address everytime?

I was downtown today and still can't believe how big the holes in the sky are.

Honestly, the idea of someone advancing their music career and defaming the memory of those people and that place with a racist song kind of makes me sick. I urge you to rethink this particular career move.

If you listen to the tune, I refer to most of the people who perished as "thousands of angels" and there isn't any racism intended. The only folks who may be offended in my opinion are Al-Queda members and Osama himself.

Thanks for the inadvertent compliment as you are thinking I have a music career. I record and write music for the joy of it and it is only a hobby of mine. "Monkey Man" is not on a CD for sale anywhere, including the internet.

Thanks for your heart felt comments
