![]() Dear Limewire Developer Team It seems Limewire always gives the text straight to Java... Java does'nt know that some text is infact S-JIS (like, all japanese users, and probably somehing windows). So I think an option should be added to use Java's codepage translation functions to convert all text from S-JIS to UTF-8 before displaying (and to convert back before sending data to the server and other clients), or an option to select encoding. In Limewire, I think all should be searchd to any people in any laguage. GnuACE is Japanese Gnutella Clone supported multibyte chraracters. http://www.r66.7-dj.com/~ace/download/gnuace_v020b.lzh |
