LimeWire's Special Features
Ease of use - just install, run, and search
Ability to search by artist, title, genre, or other meta information
Elegant multiple search interface
"Swarm" downloads from multiple hosts helps you get files faster
Unique "ultrapeer" technology reduces bandwidth requirements for most users
Integrated file library with built-in audio player
Integrated chat
Resume downloads
Browse host feature--even works through firewalls
Added Bitzi metadata lookup

In addition to fixing several bugs, LimeWire 2.7 introduces several new features:
LimeWire New Features 2.7.3 - (Release date: 10.29.02)
Remote queueing: if an uploader is too busy to handle a download request, it will queue you. The uploader then serves downloads in a first-come, first-serve basis. This feature is compatible with the queueing schemes used by other vendors.
Resume from library: you can resume incomplete files in the library with a single button press.
Safer resumes: LimeWire keeps track of the hashes for all incomplete files. This reduces the chance of a corruption when resuming.

Question Differences since 2.7.3?

I would like to know...what are the differences in Limewire since version 2.7.3? I have seen 2.7.6, 2.7.7,2.7.9,now 2.7.13.

I have upgraded all along, using 2.7.9 currently on Mac OS X 10.2.2 and just saw yet another update tonight.

What are the differences in these? Why doesn't Limewire mention anything about this on their website?

I'm rather curious what is happening.

Default You're not alone....

Many share your desire to see more documentation posted for revision content of new versions.

There's a bit of info here.

The intermediate versions had problems with saving properties on some systems.

Thanks
