don't kill me for 'resurrecting' the topic, but I just had an observation. I got the impression that the original poster was not talking about warez and serialz at all, but about password protected zip files. Those are the most annoying things ever. Dunno why people do it.

I mean, if I ever shared one of my litestep themes in a zip, I would never password protect it and not have the password available, yet some people do that, and it sucks.

Anyway, that was all. Might as well lock this one too.

If i had a good connection, I'd love to share the latest software I'd have WITH the serial #s included. I don't know why people do that either, and actually I just posted a topic for this reason. (and did a seach afterwards... sorry...) Got a 234 MB file through a dial up connection and it took forever. Now, without the serial I cannot install the software... And the worst is that I have got thousands of serial #s through Limewire and Warez and none of them worked. sucks! If someone knows it could please tell it! my post is called Help with a serial WANTED number...

Yep it's verry frustrating to find you have downloaded a password protected .zip or .rar and the password is not provided .
The same goes for misnamed movies, cracks with mallware and virusses or mangeled up Mp3's.
Why all those files are shared on Gnutella or other well known P2P ?
Some people/groups have a interest in frustrating the P2P experience.

The easy solution to avoid all those frustration is: buy legally, that way you support developers and artists.

The hard way is to learn your way around the internet, becouse if you know the right places you can get all you want hassele free.
But for the last solution this forum isn't the right place.
If we were to start discusing warez and provide serials this forum would last for about one more month and then all would be over leaving CycloCide with the legal mess.
