address. I had to reboot while browsing a host. I wrote down the ip address. Now how do I use the IP address to find the same person and browse their shared files?

I'm no expert, but knowing the IP address probably doesn't help you. I just tested an IP search under the'any type' catagory, and got no results, even though I had just used the 'Browse Host' option from within a search and knew that the IP WAS available.
Try re-doing the same search. If your lucky, the same person will be on-line at the time, and you can browse it then.

Yea, I tried that too to no avail. Napster had a feature to save "favorites" of your good hosts. Does Limewire have that? I haven't found it if it does.

Thanks again.

No, there is no "favorite host" option.

But, when you do a "Browse Host" the port number also comes up. So, if you do an IP search, I would think that you need to have their port number also.

Not all hosts allow browsing. So it may be that the host you are trying to browse doesn't allow it. Also, they could be offline. If it's a firewalled host, I don't believe you can browse their files.
