Just had a small question about lime wire.
How do i find out how many files i have successfully sent to users?

I see in my statistics: Total messages sent: 397

Does this mean i have sent 397 files successfully to other users? Or do messages me like requests but does not nessarly mean they got the whole file?

No it's just 397 upload requests that you have accepted. 1 upload request is probably just 100K of that file.

You can get a rough idea by watching your monitor page.

It tells you wether an upload was complete or interrupted, but sometimes, only a portion is uploaded from your compter, so the only time you can be positive is when the file size shown matches the file uploaded, AND it says completed.

Default is to clear complete, but you can change that in options. You can clear them manually after studying them.
Good way to monitor what people want, too.

And it makes you feel so warm and fuzzy inside.

you can also look at the library tab and see the individual upload stats per file (in the form of " #completed / #attempted " ).

Gotchya, im trying to get my music out and so far only 7 uploads all day ;[ I tryed change file name and codec information and still no progress, any suggestions? ;]

Oh yeah and another thing, im behind a linksys router right now, so are there any ports i should forward in order to help get more uploads to users?
