Angry Something Disturbing and Fishy!!

I'm always experimenting with programs to see what happens when you do
something your not suppose to do. I'm curious that way.

I recently decided to take one of my mp3 files and give it a series of
letters that no one would use for a title (ex. jjjjjx.mp3). Then I went
and typed in the letters into the title slot under Audio, thinking I
might only see one entry, mine! To my surprise I saw many results some
with "AWESOME", "the real thing" or "please share!!!" after them. All of
these were on T3 connections. I tried downloading them to see what they
were. They could not be downloaded.

I thought maybe it's just a coincidence, so I created in a more complex
title on my mp3 file (44hjsjjjjz.mp3) and did the search again. the same
thing happened again, dozens of "44hjsjjjjz.mp3" on T3 connection
appeared. What is this?

It's bad enough downloading a file thinking it's one thing only to get a
porn add that automatically makes my browser open to a porn site
(abusers of Lime Wire), but this seems like something that is part of
Lime Wire. Does Lime Wire pad search results with non-downloadable ghost
items?

It's not Limewire, but you've noticed a major pain--search these forums for "Awesome" and you'll find the solution to blocking those ip's.

Default Trojan Pest

The prevelance of those PLEASE SHARE! Typr files on the network is so great that I tend to think one or two idiots planted that stuff via a shared folder as a prank or a major hater of p2p is looking to get even. My solution is a simple one, I just ignore that stuff in the search results.

Unhappy Trojan spreader assistance

Can someone explain what this Trojan Spreader is, exactly? I found that once I had it, a large portion of my music files duplicated two times in my Itunes. I didn't even check the folder where the original files are stored. Anyway, now it is almost impossible to download any more files. I've tried adjusting all sorts of settings, but just can't seem to get back to my quick and excellent downloading capability. Is there some culprit file I should be looking for to delete?

By the way, who would be such a freak to create a Trojan Spreader?

Thumbs up Thank God for Norton Anti Virus 2003

I've been using Lime Wire for a month *** well as Kazza. But with Lime Wire there is a higher threat of Viruses such as Trojans Clezzes and Hacktool viruses. So far, my Norton Anti virus saved me from three out of three Trojans from "Please Share" and all his/her little sibblings. So if anyone who doesn't have a powerfull anti virus like Norton, I strongly sugjust you get it before you use Lime Wire. I like Norton because it has the best Symantic update feature that updates every other day and the fact that you can submit a copy of the found virus that has been Qarantined. There on it Man!!!!!
