Cant change options! plz help

When I change the options, and reopen options after closing them they are still default.

Maybe its because i can only exit the options winow by clicking on the X in the upper right corner.
But i dont find any other way of exiting way, theres no Ok button.

I have the newest version, can anyone plz tell me how to change options properly?

The buttons for properly closing the options dialog are at the bottom of the dialog. If you cannot see them, then probably your screen resolution is set too small try a reasonable screen size like 1024x768 or similar.

My resolution is 1024x768, and I can't see any buttons at the botton.

There is something terribly wrong with your LimeWire. Mine looks like this:

I would recommend to switch to the native windows look and feel and look if this changes things.

I´ve tried to uninstall and then install the newest version, but I still can´t get mine to save the changes i make in the "options" bar. Why/how/when/what?
