I ran a search on this and could find nothing. I'm using a pb G4, OS 10.3.3, DSL, 1.25 Ghz and I believe its LW 3.8.5, not pro. I spent some time downloading a certain file, was able to unstuff it, but when I tried to run it, I got the message "Unable to run on a locked volume." Against my better judgement, I unlocked my hardrive, and tried again. Same message. I opened Disk Utility, to see if it showed a lock on my hardrive, nothing. Can anyone give me a clue here? I've been using computers quite a while, but this one has me stumped. Thanks. BTW, I think LW is about the coolest thing I've run across in a long time! My college kid showed it to me.
