download speed

When I start to download a file, it starts off great at about 50 kbs or so, but then it quickly descends to 0 and stops the download. Is there some setting I have chekced that is affecting it or what? Can anyone out there help?

I dont think i can help realli i'm sorry as when i start dwnloading it stays at 3kbps which is a bit slow but tht's all i can get. U may have selceted some option tht doesn't like downloading wateva. Or it could be some file tht you have been sent tht was like a virus and wont let u download stuff. no Idea m8 sorri

Did you try dlding a popular file to see what happens? I mean like some .mp3 that's currently really popular, even if you don't like it, just to see if the dld will finish.

Nope, sorry. That post was meant for mp3man since he says his dlds don't even finish.
For the Bunny, I'd recomend running a search on this forum. You'll definitely find how another post that'll tell you how to rightly configure your connection to get faster dlds.


(btw, I DO know which post that is but I've written it like a 100 times on a 100 different posts so I won't tell you so that people will try using the "search" feature for a change)
