Where can I get just a simple tarball of the LimeWire source code? What kind of open source project is this anyway?? I realize the source is available from CVS and that technically fulfills the requirements of the GPL, but it would be really nice if I could just get a tarball of the last stable release. Anyone know where I could find one?

You can get the source by following these simple steps:
[Make a new directory called 'limewire' and navigate to that directory.] cvs -d :pserver:[email protected]:/cvs login [hit enter -- a blank password is expected] cvs -d :pserver:[email protected]:/cvs checkout core gui lib tests You now have the source. You can also view the source online, if you prefer, at limewire.org. |
