I'm really not understanding exactly what OOB is. Could someone break it down for me. All I know is that limewire downloads things for me. But I would like to get it at the best I can. Thanks.

Out of Band replies mean you don't have to do anything
When you send out a request for a file, it might get relayed up to about 7 times before it finds someone willing to send it back to you. Rather than sending it back through all the middlemen, the file is returned directly to you "OOBand" To get the fastest returns possible, search for files with the most stars and sources, and try to ensure your computer is set up to "allow incoming connections" (firewall and routers allow incoming connections on port 6346). |
