Every song I download opens up in either Quicktime or WMP. I have always used iTunes as my media player, but now every download I have opens up in one of those two programs. I need to find out what settings I need to change or what I need to do so that my stuff opens in iTunes, and goes into that library. Any help is appreciated. A step by step walk through would be ideal, but every little bit helps.

Click the file and click "Get info" (in OSX you control-click it or press Command-I. I'm not too sure 'bout OS9). Click "Open with" and set iTunes as the default app. Then click "change all".

Now, this may or may not be accurate because I'm telling you how to do it on OSX. Try it though, you never know.
