| I've been using limewire for 3 months and over the last month there seems to have been a huge jump in the number of corrupted files. More than 50% of the time the file (usually mp3) has been corrupted. Why is this happening? Is this normal? If I upgrade my limewire (pay for the program) will the number of corrupted files decrease? Help please. |

| I have the latest version of LimeWire (4.0.4 I elieve is the latest). I use Windows XP and I have downloaded every patch and update available. I don't think it has anything to do with my system. The files download, but when they are corrupted they have gaps in the music or sometimes sound like a CD skipping. If I put them on a disc, the corrupted files will not play on my home stereo (which plays MP3s). |
