i did the speed test and it said my download speed was 3763 kb/s and my uploads was 708 kb/s. im just confused as to what to set my upload/download speeds at. should i put it on the maximum as the maximum is only about 50 kb/s. also is that download consider fast.

Speeds on LW are shown in kilobytes which are larger than kilobits. So a d/load speed of 3763kbs = 470KBs and u/load of 708kbs = 88KBs. I have my d/load speed set at max. For the upload speed you should cut it back some. I have mine set 10KBs slower than the max. You need to save some bandwidth for overhead. You'll need to eperiment a little with the settings if you plan to do other things while your using LW or it could slow your computer down too much.

Your speeds are quite fast probably better than most .

One question. If I was to do a search for say just the year and get some results and then begin down loading one, will it find less hosts/DL slower, than if I did a direct search. Just wondering because someone told me this was so.

One more question. What is T1 and T3, and what happened to T2, was he not invited to play any of these reindeer games?
