HELP turning off auto text in Search fields
I am running Limewire 4.0.7 on Windows XP Pro.
When I type something into one of the SEARCH fields. such as ***, on the next search, if I start typing another name starting with a W, the rest of *** will appear. This is like autotext in MS Word. I notice this is the 2nd identical thread you've created. The probable reason your 1st one wasn't answered is b/c it's been answered before in another thread if you'd bothered to search for it. It took me 15 secs to find it!
To get rid of autocomplete, go to Tools -> Options (or on OSX, Preferences), then View -> Autocomplete Text, and uncheck the box.
