I switched over from Soulseek and Morpheus for many reasons and I like LW because it seems to capture the choclatey goodness and rich creamy nougat of both. My DL / UL are generally pretty good--no real complaints and my CPU doesn't hang all over the place like it does with Morph Pro. I have a brand new sys w/ AMD 64 / K8T MBoard / ample card / sound / DDR / and SBC DSL. As I said, I am movin' along pretty good. What is LW Pro going to give me? I see they say Turbocharged DL's but you can only go as fast as the cumulative UL... So what am I getting? I think I saw something about more or better sourcing? What's that all about? BEFORE I get a google-billion replies of hate mail -- I have nothing against SS or Morph just didn't have too great an experience, though both have some nice features.

The differences are not dramatic between basic & pro, so keep that in mind. Better sourcing is Turbocharged to my understanding. It gives you 'that much' more search power (always at the max of the app, with consideration of course to variables such as connection clarity.) Hope this helps to show what you can expect. Make sure you have the most recent version of Java for your OS. If you have problems somebody will help you out I'm sure.
