![]() I just finished downloading LimeWire and I started to use the player and my songs were skipping. These are newly downloaded songs. I had to have my songs played on Real Player instead after turning off the LimeWire Player. I want to be able to use the LimeWire Player without it skipping but I don't know how. Any of you guys know? |

![]() LW's media player is somewhat basic. Skipping can occur. Lw's mp is good to use for trialling music you're still dwnlding. Whilst u can use it to open files from shared folders etc., I can only guess why it sometimes doesn't handle the songs properly. It might be to do with the format (there's many types of mp3 formats out there) & or the quality of the file. There's many mp3 players out there that can't play all mp3 formats & some you need to purchase xtra codecs for. To make your favourite mp3 player the default player see: How to set an mp3 player to work with LW, Tip 1 And also mp3 Player for LW Tip 2. Hope this at least finds a simple solution for you. |
