lost files

when i d/l files they dont go to my library

Are u talking about the public library? When u finish dwnlding files, LW will move them from your incomplete folder to your LW Dwnld folder. To see which/what/where this folder is, go to LW's menu Tools-Options & Saving. Here you will see the name of the Dwnld folder & its path. Make a note of these details! It might also be wise to make a shortcut/ref to this folder & put it somewhere easy to find such as in Explorer.

If you want your dwnlds to show up in LW's Library window, you will need to share them. Go back to LW's menu & Tools-Options & this time click on Sharing. You can add your lw dwnld folder using the Add button & directing LW to where this folder is (remember the path in the previous paragraph.) After you've pressed Add, press Apply and then OK. Now you can go back to LW's Library window & press Refresh. On your left of the window you should now see your lw dwnld folder on the list of shared folders. Click to open the folder & see the files inside. Hope this helps.
