et voilà September 23rd, 2004 04:12 PM

Perfect as you never read my posts anyway, troll. However I won't ignore yours.

Vampmon September 23rd, 2004 04:17 PM

I do read your posts, but you are never fair.

Anyway this is going off-topic.

Vampmon September 23rd, 2004 04:23 PM

What does banning Morpheus have to do with someone reading someone elses posts?

Vampmon September 23rd, 2004 04:32 PM

I ignore things i don't agree with.

EDIT:

OK, people… We got off to a bad start I think, let’s clear the slate clean and start again.
I’m sure everyone here has different thoughts and views of different things, and I don’t agree I should be isolated because I believe Morpheus is a decent file sharing application, it’s not right.

What does a trojan in your eyes? A trojan downloads and connects without permission and the user don´t know what it downloads. And yes it is a security risk a BIIIIIIIIIIG one.

Well I think this was true at first, but they (the devs of the topmoxie spyware (I think it's its name)) changed the way it worked sometime. Anyway, it never installed on my mac :)

You know what Morgwen: Ebates that Morpheus installs is exactly the same as Limeshop.

A trojan per definition is a program that hides its true identity and is intended to offer other people remote access to your computer. clicktillyouwin had a very stupid and insecure auto-update function.

The problem of overwriting the "affiliate" variable of other website was a bug and it was fixed shortly after it was discovered. We had this conversation before, - it was pointless then, it is pointless now.

I think not. The humans learn from history. This example should show that Vampnon shouldn´t say to loud that Morpheus is save from such "faults".
