Default TV.org is a SCAM

While searching for something on Google I came across a listing for TV.org, telliong me that I could download missed episodes of televivion shows. It sounded good, but all it was was a list of download programs, all with ad/spyware, no less.

This an an off-shoot of filesharingcenter.com - beware.

Default scam

There's another scam site: mp3downloading.com

They list all the p2p as being "new" and their own for which you pay them to download.

Can Cyclocide block them out - or maybe a kindly hacker.....

Angry Scammed by "tv.org"

I was scammed by tv.org also, just like the guy who posted above. It really sickens me that I have basically given them $23.44 in exchange for a link to limewire. I have contacted BBC's watchdog to file a complaint with the company. I have also contacted the online bank the I used to pay, ClickBank. I was scammed once before, by mp3u.com, so I really should have known better!

They're everywhere! I did a Google search for movie downloads before realizing I could use LW without going through one of those sites. Ultimatemoviedownloads.com, Onemovieplace.com are two I visited and signed up for. DUHHHHHHH. One is giving me a $39.95 refund, the other has no refund policy and I lose $28.00.
Sorry state of affairs for the uninformed public.

If your payment to this other company was processed by CilckBank, maybe they wil give you a refund for your money. They gave me a refund after I explained to them that I had been scammed.

Below is the icon of one of a chain of scam sites that goes under different names & has multiple addresses. The Squid sucks the blood out of your finances. http://www.mp3musiclive.com/, http://www-etomi.com/g/, http://www-360share.com/ & http://www.bearshare2005.com/ are just a few of many on the above list with this logo.
Any site that says Lifetime membership or Unlimited downlds or free music, movies, games, etc. is a scam site.

Default Membership clarification

at LimeWire.com there are two options.
You can sign up for LimeWire Pro for $18.88 or you can order the second edition of Limewire Pro.

What is the difference?
Thank you

Umm...Sharkie what 2nd edition are you refering to? I hope you got LW pro thru the official LW site: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/home.shtml

You can get a CD edition. But as far as I know that's all.

lizziebrad I'm sorry LW customer support didn't get to your problem before the weekend but they will I assure you. And yes if you don't eventually get the registration to come thru then you should get your money back. You should at least get an extension on your registration for the period you haven't been able to downld the softw. Sorry to hear there's been this type of issue. About a month back they had a problem for a day or two with their online registration which may have cropped up again.

Keep an eye out, just make sure their mail doesn't end up in your junkmail.
