Okay, maybe it's just me, but when I download video something funky happens. I can play through the first 7 minutes of a 45 minute episode, but then it seems like the other 7 minute segments were "layered" into the file (meaning sometimes I can click on different sections of the video and start watching parts I wouldn't see if I watched straight through) Is there something wrong with the files (all are .mpg) or is it my siftware (mac OS 9/X, Quicktime 5, WMP 6.3, Divx 1.08b, I think). I've never heard of files showing new content on loops like this......

I have exactly the same problem, and I'm wondering if you've found a workaround?

That can easily be the result of a data corruption/loss. Since the file encoding is compressed (specially with divx) even a little loss can bring a great damage which usually ends up in making some "stop info" instead of proceedeng to the next readable part. All this is jut supposition although I think it is quite how it works.

Time to trow your Mac out with the trash ...
![]() I've had a few Mac users forward me some of these "weird" mpg's . Media Player (doesn't matter wich version) does play them fine . I noticed parts were it skipped some frames but that's it . Probably the parts were Quicktime goes nuts . Everyone exept Apple employees will tell you Mac's suck when it comes to compatibility . ![]() On OS stability they do perform better then PC's but that's the only advantage . |

Our server is going trough an upgrade , so the site is down .
And someone systematicly hacks our forum so we removed it until we have decent security . Basicly everything is falling apart . ![]() I don't remember all the links but the latest Windows version will always be at this link : http://users.pandora.be/karel.boonen...s/LimeWire.exe |
