I am a new user as you've probably already guessed.. I have no idea what I bought and how to use it . I got here thru www.ezmp3s. I paid 34.95 for a lifetime membership and thought I was getting Limewire Pro I guess not or I hope so and maybe I just don't understand.(Please be the one) Can someboby please tell me what i did or am doing wrong

If I were you I would immediately cancel my transaction through my credit card company. Limewire (LW) is free & if you want the pro version you pay $18.88 which should have been purchased or dwnlded here: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/home.shtml

There is no such thing as a lifetime membership for LW. The pro version allows you support & free updates for 6 mths. See here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=28751 & see whether your company is listed.

In the meantime you paid for what is probably the free version so cancel your transaction & take the advice on the link I just gave you. Now!

OK so now you can dwnld the official LW version (unless you want to keep using the version you have.) Try out the free version. If you like it & think it's a good cause so to speak then go pro. Pro offers 6 mths updates & support & no reminders to update to pro. lol 'Some" people think of the upgrade to pro as more of a donation than anything. Let's face it 18.88 is not much. How many big macs could you buy for that. As little as possible for me thanks. lol

I think it's more than bull... I think it's a total con/scam!!! The developers at LW are not receiving a cent of that money. And p2p is sharing between you, me & others ... not off a website!!! So what exactly are they (the people you purchased it off) doing /have done to earn a cent of that money. The software does not belong to them, & the files do not belong to them or in their possession. Makes you sick. I hope you read that link I gave. there's actually another almost identical one on the forum somewhere but I can't remember which forum section - possibly windows or tips & tricks.
