Paid for down load

I think I got the basic down load but for some reason when I went into LimeWire it had a place to down load and when I went to down load it said I had to pay 99cents a month for two years to down load it I Paid it but now that it is down loaded want to know what I paid for as I only have the freeversion and in another place I see that I can down load it for nothing. So what did I get for my almost $30 Canadian??
