Why does limewire freeze my pc everytime???

Limewire Freeze can someone tell me why limewire freezes my pc everytime i try to use it. sometimes it downloads for a while then freezes for no apparent reason. I have changed the options, dont know how to check the firewall. have avg antivirus. have run it on its own, no other progs going or net surfing & it still freezes. Am i downloading to many at once??? what is the problem????

DON'T use the Resume button to continue All of your downlds. This will put great stress on LW & your computer.

And if you've had incompletes sitting at 0% for many months, then delete them from the downld list & also the incomplete folder (but be very careful to choose the right ones!!!)

How much RAM do you have by the way? Do yo use other apps at the same time?

I was locking up during downloads and I thought buying Pro would resolve the problem but I was wrong! So, in that respect your no better off with the paid version.

Hopefully the developers will work this serious handicap out!
If so, I believe, it will do their business a lot of good.
