butzbach | March 10th, 2005 11:18 AM | video I notice that when trying to view certain video downloads I am prevented from doing so. There doesn't seem to be a reason other than my system can't play or doesn't recognize the playing system. Any suggestions? This seems to be related to larger files rather than smaller...clips. Thanks |
murasame | March 10th, 2005 12:18 PM | Any error msgs? (like "Codecs not found" or sumthin' like that?)
Or do the files show as unrecognised files?
Click here and dld VLC: it will play a great many filetypes. |
butzbach | March 10th, 2005 12:54 PM | Thanks. i'm doing some "testing" right now to see what happens. Ultimately i want to be able to burn a video cd and play it on my dvd player. I downloaded some stuff from the site you shared. We'll see. Thx again. |
butzbach | March 10th, 2005 01:24 PM | I just got the "codec" reply on a probable fake download. What a waste of time with these fakes.
Any other advise? Thx |
murasame | March 11th, 2005 03:57 AM | You got a codec error with VLC? (VLC is a player eh? Use it instead of WMP) |
