I notice that when trying to view certain video downloads I am prevented from doing so. There doesn't seem to be a reason other than my system can't play or doesn't recognize the playing system. Any suggestions? This seems to be related to larger files rather than smaller...clips. Thanks

Any error msgs? (like "Codecs not found" or sumthin' like that?)
Or do the files show as unrecognised files?
Click here and dld VLC: it will play a great many filetypes.

Thanks. i'm doing some "testing" right now to see what happens. Ultimately i want to be able to burn a video cd and play it on my dvd player. I downloaded some stuff from the site you shared. We'll see. Thx again.

I just got the "codec" reply on a probable fake download. What a waste of time with these fakes.

You got a codec error with VLC? (VLC is a player eh? Use it instead of WMP)
