HELP......IP Address??!!??

It says you can type in the IP Address of a friend and then you can browse each others files for songs. Me and one of my friends want to do that but i dont know wat my IP Address is or wat his is. How can i find out.

If you select Direct Connect search type it should show what your ip address is. If not then you're probably both firewalled which would make it extremely difficult to DC. See: How to Direct Connect, Browse & Chat

in the run window just type ipconfig>enter.
A DOS window will pop up and tell you what you ip is. type exit when done.
