I have just signed up wiyth Limewire and am feeling my way around. So far so good but...How do I refine a search to only return what I have asked for? If for instance I search for the song ***** the search returns 'Hark the herald angels sing' as well as *****.
How do I get it to only return exactly what I asked for? Last edited by birdy; February 9th, 2008 at 08:36 PM. |

Unfortunately with the way the search function works it will connect onto anything that has a part of the name in it. The way to view the results better are to apply the filters. For example, if it's a song you're after then you click on the audio filter. If it's a particular artist then click on the artist name & album, etc. Sometimes using just a part of the artist's name or album or song or movie, etc. can return favourable results which may include some you wouldn't have had before. Some people misname their files. Also doing a general type (any type) search can also help bring back results.
