T1?
Before ya'll jump a newbie, I tried a search for T1 and it says that it is not long enough to search!
I have been reading the forum for about 2 hours and I cannot find anywhere to answer basic questions. I also tried Limewire help which is how I got here... I just downloaded limewire and under speed I know what a modem is, and I have DSL, but what is T1 and can I or should I use it? thank you in advance

T1 is a faster internet connection that cable/dsl. T3 is used by like government agencies.

thank you for the information. If I only have DSL can I download songs that are marked T1?
I hate to sound stupid, but this is all so new to me.

Yes the speed you see in your search results is the speed of the host.
