limewire pro

hi
i have a dial up connection and am using windows ME with my e-tower 700 emachines.
if i upgrade to limewire pro will download speeds be increased ? is there any advantage to going limewire pro when using a dial-up connection ? thanks

LW Pro does not increase your speeds per se. It connects more easily. It connects to 5 Ultrapeers whereas LW Basic connects to 3. Dial up users are stuck with their 5-6 KB/s. If you want a faster speed then upgrade to broadband or cable or super-dial-up (not sure what it's called.)
