![]() 192 addresses are usually home users. They do not belong to any ISP, but indicate a local area network (LAN). For example, if anyone uses a home router to connect all the family computers to the internet, the home router gets the "official" or "external IP address assigned by the ISP. All the other machines then get a local IP of (typically) 192.168.1.<a number from 1 to whatever). So, seeing 192.etc just means the file is coming from someone behind a LAN. Since many families now have more than one computer, the 192 addresses are becoming VERY common. No worries. cheers |
