I am thinking about purchasing limewire pro. I was just wondering how different limewire pro is compared to regular limewire. For example, it says you get more content in your searches, faster downloading speed, more hosts, etc. Well, is the difference that noticeable? Are there significantly more search results in the pro version than the regular version? Any info. like that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

limewire pro connects you to faster hosts.

Greetings Dark_Negotiator

The Differences are subtle for most users. The main difference is with pro you connect to 5 Ultrapeers versus 3 with basic. Thus the better search results.

To correct you on one statement Dark_Negotiator it does not connect to faster hosts. A particular file may show more hosts sharing that file, and you may be able to get a faster d/l speed by the increased hosts if you are able to u/l from all of them, which may not always be the case. Some popular files show many hosts, but they are busy with all the requests for it, so you may only be able to d/l from 1 or 2 of the hosts.
