 When you uninstall LW it will only remove what was installed. It will not remove the preferences folder or the shared & incomplete folders. So you will be safe there. It sounds to me like an uninstall of the LW program might be what's needed in your case. Keep in mind that on some people's systems Java 1.5 works best but for others Java 1.4.2 works better. Get a fresh LW downld from here: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml * When you install either LW or Java, 1st save the installer programs to your computer before installing (don't install over the net as this sometimes causes problems!)  |
