![]() Hey everyone, Be VERY careful when downloading Programs and videos! My computer has become infested with some junk that seems impossible to get rid of. See this thread for more detailed information about it: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=38705 If anyone knows what I'm talking about and has perhaps been through this and can offer me some advice, I would really appreciate it. So far I have: 1. deleted all the files in c:/uploads and then the recycle bin 2. deleted unwanted programs in add/remove programs 3. run Microsoft Antispyware, Norton and Adaware 4. deleted Limewire (I know, sigh) 5. deleted cookies My computer seems happy when I've done all of this, but that's taking me an hour and a half each time I start my computer, and I've completely run out of time! And when I startup again, this whole mess is back... Help me if you can, please! cheers ![]() |
