Hello there. I would like to know how can I clear all the searches and history in my Limewire 4.8.1. To be exact, that is the memory in the search bar. Whenever I try to type a letter, for example, r, it will load back the originally typed searches. I find this rather annoying and would like to clear it away. Any way to do it?

You have two choices right now (the next release has even more).

The history is forgotten after a quit, and there is also a checkbox in the Options under the View section.

the easiest way is to get Pro
or, much more work: build you own LimeWire from http://www.limewire.org/

Otherwise, I don't know of any reliable or trustworthy way to get rid of the nag.
