Search field lockout

There is an annoying bug with LW1.7, and it has existed since at least 1.6b days, where the search field stops working whenever the LW window is obscured by another window. The only way to search again is to quit LW, relaunch, and wait for it to once again pick up new connections.

Any other window popping up, or iconizing the LW window, or paging to another screen and then you can't type anything in the search field. It was kind of random in 1.6b&d, but with 1.7 its 100% repeatable.

There was something on the LW site about it being a known bug that would be fixed in the next release, but that tiny bit of info is gone now. Will it get fixed soon? Its very annoying to quit LW every time I want to search for something new, and it kicks off all the uploaders.
