i just downloaded a movie, the picture is great and the sound is great. the only problem is the sound comes like 3 seconds after its supposed to so the peoples mouths dont move with the sound. the bitzi report is good and everything, is it a problem i can fix or not?

If the problem is not the video file then it might be a CODEC issue. Get update codecs from any of these locations: 1. http://www.land.ee/d_nimo_codec.html 2. http://www.free-codecs.com/ 3. http://lists.gpick.com/pages/CoDecs.htm 4. http://www.k-litecodecpack.com/
Also consider getting a backup player like DivX or VLC (in-built codecs): http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (choose nearest mirror site)

that didnt work. im not sure if i'm using the codecs correctly however

Try VLC (the last link I gave) which has in-built codecs. If it still has the problem then chances are it might be the actual file. Only way to fix it would be to demux the file, replace the sound back in (perhaps by changing audio speed or changing it in the timeline.)
